The ambition
As the padel tennis sector continues to boom in the UK, a lot of padel tennis centres are finding it difficult to source finance. Owing to the nature of many courts being installed into leased ground, courts being manufactured and delivered from Europe and the infancy of the industry in the UK. Our client needed to secure £112,000 and a 3 month VAT deferral to support the opening of their premiere club int he West Midlands.
How the finance was structured
We worked with a specialist lender to deliver the facility in staged payments to the manufacturer. This allowed the customer to maintain their deadlines and get their premier facility operational. Utilising a VAT deferral to support the facility, the initial cash flow burden on the business was reduce allowing them to invest in their marketing and operational expenses for a fantastic launch!
